जहि शत्रुगणान् सर्वान् महेन्द्रो दानवानिव।
अवस्थितं रणे दृष्ट्वा पाण्डवास्त्वां महारथा:॥ ३४॥
द्रविष्यन्ति च पञ्चाला विष्णुं दृष्ट्वेव दानवा:।
तस्मात् त्वं पुरुषव्याघ्र प्रकर्षैतां महाचमूम्॥ ३५॥ |

| जैसे देवराज इन्द्र ने दैत्यों का संहार किया, वैसे ही आप भी समस्त शत्रुओं का संहार करें। जैसे भगवान विष्णु को देखकर दैत्य भाग जाते हैं, वैसे ही पाण्डव और पांचाल योद्धा आपको युद्धभूमि में सेनापति के रूप में उपस्थित देखकर भाग जाएँगे; अतः हे नरसिंह! आप इस विशाल सेना का नेतृत्व करें॥ 34-35॥ |
