प्रणयादभिमानाच्च द्विषद्वृद्धॺा च दुर्मना:।
शृण्वतां सर्वयोधानां संरब्धो वाक्यकोविद:॥ ६॥
अनुवाद
शत्रुओं के बढ़ते जाने से वह अत्यन्त दुःखी हो गया था। उसके हृदय में द्रोणाचार्य के प्रति प्रेम था। उसे उनके पराक्रम का भी गर्व था। अतः अत्यन्त क्रोधित होकर वार्तालाप में कुशल राजा दुर्योधन ने समस्त योद्धाओं के सुनते हुए यह कहा -॥6॥
He was deeply saddened by the rise of enemies. He had love for Dronacharya in his heart. He was also proud of his valour. Therefore, being very angry, King Duryodhana, skilled in conversation, said this in the hearing of all the warriors -॥ 6॥
