संशप्तक योद्धा विशाल सरोवरों के समान थे, बाणों के समूह उनकी जलधाराएँ थे, धनुष स्वयं उनमें उठते हुए विशाल भँवरों के समान प्रतीत होते थे और बहता हुआ रक्त उन सरोवरों का जल था। संशप्तकों का वध करके उन विशाल सरोवरों को पार करके अर्जुन वहाँ आते हुए दिखाई दिए।
The Samshaptaka warriors were like great lakes, the masses of arrows were their water currents, the bows themselves appeared like the great whirlpools rising in them and the flowing blood was the water of those lakes. Arjuna was seen coming there after crossing those great lakes after killing the Samshaptakas.
