तत्पश्चात् द्रोणपुत्र ने आकाश में स्थित मायावी घटोत्कच पुत्र को अपने बाणों से उसी प्रकार घायल कर दिया, जैसे सूर्य अपनी किरणों से बादलों को पिघला देता है।
