अश्वांश्च चतुर: श्वेतान् निजघान शितै: शरै:।
छित्त्वा ध्वजं रथं चैव शतधा पुरुषर्षभ॥ ६४॥
चकार विरथं कर्णं तव पुत्रस्य पश्यत:। |

| हे पुरुषश्रेष्ठ! तत्पश्चात् सात्यकि ने अपने तीखे बाणों से कर्ण के चारों श्वेत घोड़ों को मार डाला और उसकी ध्वजा को काटकर उसके रथ को सैकड़ों टुकड़ों में तोड़ डाला तथा आपके पुत्र के सामने ही कर्ण को रथहीन कर दिया। |
