महामनस्वी और अपार बल-लोलुप अर्जुन पुनः अपना राज्य प्राप्त करना चाहते थे। कौरवों द्वारा दिए गए कष्टों और बारह वर्षों तक वनवास के कष्टों को स्मरण करके उन्होंने अपने गाण्डीव धनुष से छोड़े हुए बाणों से सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं को आच्छादित कर दिया॥93॥
Arjuna, the great-minded and immeasurable power-hungry man, wanted to regain his kingdom. Remembering the troubles inflicted by the Kauravas and the hardships of exile he had to endure for twelve years, he covered all directions with arrows shot from his Gandiva bow.॥93॥
