अयं स वैकर्तन युद्धकालो
विदर्शयस्वात्मबलं महात्मन्।
यथा न वध्येत रणेऽर्जुनेन
जयद्रथ: कर्ण तथा कुरुष्व॥ १२॥
अनुवाद
हे सूर्यपुत्र! यह युद्ध का समय है। महात्मन! आप इस समय अपना पराक्रम दिखाइए। हे कर्ण! युद्धभूमि में अर्जुन के हाथों जयद्रथ का वध न हो, इसका पूरा प्रयत्न कीजिए। 12॥
Son of the Sun! This is the time for war. Mahatman! You show your strength at this time. Ear! Make every effort to ensure that Jayadratha is not killed by Arjuna in the battlefield. 12॥
