वे भी वायु के समान तेजस्वी, दस हजार हाथियों के समान भयंकर भीमसेन के प्रचण्ड बल और उनके क्रूर निश्चय को जानते हैं; वे उनके बल, पराक्रम और क्रोध से परिचित हैं। ऐसी स्थिति में, वे यम, काल और अन्तक के समान क्रूर भीमसेन को युद्ध में अपनी ओर कैसे भड़काएँगे?॥ 8-9 1/2॥
They too know about the fierce strength of Bhimasena, who is as radiant as the wind, and is as fierce as ten thousand elephants, and his cruel determination; they are familiar with his strength, valour and anger. In such a condition, how will they provoke Bhimasena, who is as cruel as Yama, Kala and Antaka, towards them in the battle?॥ 8-9 1/2॥
