अल्पावशिष्टा: सम्भग्ना: कृच्छ्रप्राणा विचेतस:॥ ५०॥
जिता: संख्ये महाराज युयुधानेन दंशिता:।
पार्ष्णिभिश्च कशाभिश्च ताडयन्तस्तुरङ्गमान्॥ ५१॥
जवमुत्तममास्थाय सर्वत: प्राद्रवन् भयात्। |

| महाराज! कुछ यवन बचे थे, जिन्होंने बड़ी कठिनाई से अपने प्राण बचाए थे। वे अपने समुदाय से अलग होकर अचेत हो रहे थे। कवचधारी वे सभी यवन युद्धभूमि में युयुधान से पराजित हो गए। वे अपने घोड़ों को हाथों और चाबुकों से पीटते हुए, तीव्र वेग का लाभ उठाकर, भयभीत होकर चारों दिशाओं में भाग गए। |
