यह सुनकर युद्ध के लिए उन्मत्त हुए महाधनुर्धर पाण्डवों ने बड़े जोर से सिंहनाद किया और जब शत्रुओं में श्रेष्ठ द्रुपदपुत्र धृष्टद्युम्न युद्ध के लिए तैयार हो गए, तब कुन्तीकुमार युधिष्ठिर ने सेनापति द्रुपद कुमार से पुनः इस प्रकार कहा- 38-39॥
