प्रसन्नभा: पावक ऊर्ध्वरश्मि:
प्रदक्षिणावर्तशिखो विधूम:।
पुण्या गन्धाश्चाहुतीनां प्रवान्ति
जयस्यैतद् भाविनो रूपमाहु:॥ ६५॥ |

| व्यास जी ने कहा, "अग्नि की चमक शुद्ध होनी चाहिए, उसकी लपटें दक्षिणावर्त दिशा में उठनी चाहिए तथा धुआँ बिल्कुल नहीं होना चाहिए; साथ ही अग्नि में डाली गई आहुतियों की पवित्र सुगंध वायु में मिलकर सर्वत्र फैलनी चाहिए - यह भावी विजय का संकेत है।" |
