शत्रुओं के लिए वे प्रलयकाल की अग्नि के समान अद्भुत तेज से प्रज्वलित थे। धनुष-बाण धधकती हुई अग्नि थे। शस्त्रों का फैलाव वायु का सहारा था। रथों के पहियों की घरघराहट उस अग्नि की ऊष्मा थी। बड़े-बड़े शस्त्रों का रूप अंगारों के समान था। विचित्र चाप उस अग्नि की प्रचंड लपटों के समान था। बड़े-बड़े योद्धा भी उसमें ईंधन की तरह गिरकर जल रहे थे।
For the enemies, they blazed with amazing brilliance like the fire of doomsday. The bow and arrow were the blazing fire. The spread of the weapons was the support of the wind. The whirring of the wheels of the chariots was the heat of that fire. The appearance of the big weapons was like embers. The strange arc was like the fierce flames of that fire. Even the greatest warriors were falling into it like fuel and getting burnt.
