सहस्रिणोऽपि जीवन्ति जीवन्ति शतिनस्तथा।
धृतराष्ट्र विमुञ्चेच्छां न कथञ्चिन्न जीव्यते॥ ८३॥ |

| जिनके पास हजार रुपये हैं वे भी जीवित हैं और जिनके पास सौ रुपये हैं वे भी जीवित हैं; इसलिए हे राजा धृतराष्ट्र! तुम्हें अधिक धन का लोभ त्याग देना चाहिए। यह सत्य नहीं है कि इससे भी जीवन नहीं चलेगा ॥ 83॥ |
