अरुन्तुदं परुषं रूक्षवाचं
वाक्कण्टकैर्वितुदन्तं मनुष्यान्।
विद्यादलक्ष्मीकतमं जनानां
मुखे निबद्धां निर्ऋतिं वै वहन्तम्॥ ८॥ |

| जिसकी वाणी कठोर और स्वभाव कठोर है, जो लोगों के प्राणों पर आक्रमण करता है और अपनी वाणी से उन्हें पीड़ा पहुँचाता है, उसे मनुष्यों में सबसे दरिद्र समझना चाहिए और वह अपने मुख पर दरिद्रता या मृत्यु बाँधे हुए है ॥8॥ |
