प्रियाप्रिये सुखदु:खे च राजन्
निन्दाप्रशंसे च भजन्त एव।
परस्त्वेनं गर्हयतेऽपराधे
प्रशंसते साधुवृत्तं तमेव॥ २७॥
अनुवाद
राजन! इस संसार में मनुष्यों को रुचि-अरुचि, सुख-दुःख, निन्दा-स्तुति मिलती रहती है। इसीलिए लोग अपराधी की, अपराध करने पर निन्दा करते हैं और केवल उस साधु पुरुष की स्तुति करते हैं जिसका आचरण अच्छा होता है। 27॥
Rajan! In this world, human beings keep receiving likes and dislikes, happiness and sorrow, criticism and praise. That is why people condemn the criminal when he commits a crime and praise only the saintly person whose behavior is good. 27॥
