चन्द्रमा भी आलस्य को त्यागकर (स्वयं कर्म द्वारा) मास, पक्ष और नक्षत्रों का संयोग प्राप्त करता है; उसी प्रकार जातवेद (अग्निदेव) भी आलस्य न करके प्रजा का कार्य करते हुए स्वयं प्रज्वलित होकर दाहकर्म को पूर्ण करता है॥10॥
The moon also gives up laziness (through action itself) and attains the conjunction of months, pakshas and constellations; Similarly, Jatveda (Agnidev) too, without being lazy, ignites itself while working for the people and completes the cremation. 10॥
