संजय! दूसरों का मान नष्ट करके अपना मान चाहने वाले, ईर्ष्यालु, क्रोधी, अर्थ और धर्म का उल्लंघन करने वाले, कटु वचन बोलने वाले, क्रोध और दीनता से ग्रस्त, कामी (भोगों में आसक्त), पापियों द्वारा स्तुति पाने वाले, शिक्षा देने में असमर्थ, भाग्यहीन, अत्यन्त क्रोधी, मित्रों से द्वेष रखने वाले और अपने पापी पुत्र दुर्योधन की प्रियतमा में आसक्त राजा धृतराष्ट्र ने यह जानते हुए भी धर्म और काम का परित्याग कर दिया है॥14-15॥
Sanjay! King Dhritarashtra, who seeks his own honor by destroying the honor of others, is jealous, angry, violates the meaning and religion, speaks harsh words, is prone to anger and humility, is lustful (obsessed with pleasures), is praised by sinners, is incapable of teaching, is unlucky, is very angry, unfriendly to friends and is fond of the beloved of his sinful son Duryodhana, despite understanding this, King Dhritarashtra has abandoned religion and work. 14-15॥
