शकुनिपुत्र! मैं दूसरी बार प्रतिज्ञा करना नहीं जानता। मैं तुमसे सत्य कह रहा हूँ। यह सब कुछ अवश्य ही घटित होगा।’ तत्पश्चात युधिष्ठिर ने भी धूर्त जुआरी के पुत्र उलूक से इस प्रकार कहा - ‘बेटा उलूक! दुर्योधन के पास जाकर उससे यह कहो -॥ 23-24॥
