तत्पश्चात् दानपति नाम से जगत् में प्रसिद्ध राजा वसुमान ने पहले ऊँचे स्वर में वचन कहते हुए महाराज ययाति से इस प्रकार कहा-॥3॥
After that, King Vasumana, famous in the world by the name of Daanapati, first uttering the words in a loud voice, spoke to Maharaj Yayati in this manner – ॥ 3॥
