हे प्रभु! मुझे पुत्री के शुल्क के रूप में ऐसे एक हजार घोड़े दीजिए, जो चंद्रमा के समान कांतिवान हों और जिनके एक ओर के कान श्याम वर्ण के हों। गालव! तब ऋचीक ऋषि ‘ऐसा ही हो’ कहकर वरुण के लोक में गए और वहाँ अश्वतीर्थ में ऐसे घोड़े प्राप्त करके राजा गाधि को दे दिए।
O Lord! Give me a thousand such horses as the fee for the daughter, which are as lustrous as the moon and whose ears are of dark colour on one side.' Galava! Then sage Richik said 'So be it' and went to Varun's world and there he got such horses at Ashwatirtha and gave them to king Gadhi. 5-6.
