उसके बार-बार आग्रह करने पर विश्वामित्रजी कुछ क्रोधित हो गए। अतः धन का अभाव जानकर भी उन्होंने उससे कहा - 'मुझे गुरुदक्षिणा दो। गालव! मुझे उत्तम नस्ल के आठ सौ घोड़े दो, जिनका शरीर चंद्रमा के समान उज्ज्वल हो और जिनके कान एक ओर से श्याम वर्ण के हों। गालव! यदि तुम मेरी बात मानते हो, तो यह गुरुदक्षिणा लाओ।' तपस्वी विश्वामित्र ने क्रोध में ऐसा कहा था॥13-15॥
‘On his repeated requests, Vishwamitra became somewhat angry. So, even after knowing that he was short of money, he said to him – ‘Give me Guru Dakshina. Galav! Give me eight hundred horses born in good breed, whose body is bright like the moon and whose ears are dark in colour from one side. Galav! If you agree to what I say, then bring this Guru Dakshina.’ The ascetic Vishwamitra had said this in anger.॥ 13-15॥
