द्वादशान्यानि वर्षाणि प्रवेक्ष्यन्ति पुनर्वनम्॥ |

| हम वहाँ जाकर मत्स्यराष्ट्र का विनाश कर देंगे और राजा विराट के गोधन पर अधिकार कर लेंगे। उनके गोधन का अपहरण करने के बाद पांडव हमसे अवश्य युद्ध करेंगे। ऐसी स्थिति में यदि हम वनवास की अवधि पूरी होने से पहले पांडवों को देख लेते हैं, तो उन्हें बारह वर्षों के लिए पुनः वन में प्रवेश करना पड़ेगा। |
