तत्पश्चात् नदियों में श्रेष्ठ और पुण्यमयी नदी पयोष्णी में जाकर स्नान करें और देवताओं तथा पितरों का पूजन करने में तत्पर हो जाएँ, ऐसा करने से तीर्थयात्री को सहस्र पुण्य का फल प्राप्त होता है ॥40॥
Thereafter, go to Payoshni, the most virtuous river and the best of rivers, and take bath and be ready to worship the gods and ancestors, by doing this the pilgrim gets the reward of a thousand blessings. 40॥
