भारत! मनुष्य बुद्धि के द्वारा जाने-अनजाने में किसी भी स्त्री या पुरुष ने जो भी पाप किये हों, वे सब पृथूदक तीर्थ में स्नान करने मात्र से नष्ट हो जाते हैं और जो मनुष्य उस तीर्थ में जाता है, उसे अश्वमेध यज्ञ का फल प्राप्त होता है और वह स्वर्ग को प्राप्त होता है ॥143-144॥
Bharat! Whatever sins a man or a woman has committed knowingly or unknowingly through human intellect, all of them are destroyed by simply taking a bath in the Prithudaka Tirtha and the person who visits the Tirtha gets the fruits of Ashwamedha Yagna and reaches heaven. ॥143-144॥
