न चापि गन्तुं युक्तं हि मया मिथ्याकृतेन वै।
असमेत्य त्वया भीरु मन्त्राहूतेन भाविनि॥ २६॥
गमिष्याम्यनवद्याङ्गि लोके समवहास्यताम्।
सर्वेषां विबुधानां च वक्तव्य: स्यां तथा शुभे॥ २७॥ |

| हे निर्दोष अंगों वाली सुन्दरी! तुमने मन्त्रों से मेरा आवाहन किया है; ऐसी स्थिति में उस आवाहन को निष्फल करके तुमसे मिले बिना लौटना मेरे लिए उचित नहीं होगा। कायर! यदि मैं इस प्रकार लौटूँगा तो संसार में मेरा उपहास होगा। शुभ! मुझे समस्त देवताओं की दृष्टि में भी निन्दनीय बनना पड़ेगा॥ 26-27॥ |
