कालप्राप्तमुपासीत सस्यानामिव कर्षक:। | | | | | | अनुवाद | | अतः विवेकशील पुरुष को उचित है कि वह (त्यागपूर्वक) प्राप्त होने वाले सुखों का भोग करे और साथ ही स्वतः आने वाले दुःखों का भार भी (धैर्यपूर्वक) सहन करे। जैसे किसान बीज बोता है और प्रारब्धानुसार जो अन्न मिलता है, उसे ग्रहण करता है, वैसे ही मनुष्य को चाहिए कि प्रारब्धवश समय-समय पर मिलने वाले सुख-दुःखों को ग्रहण करे॥ 15 1/2॥ | | | | ‘Therefore, it is appropriate for a prudent man to enjoy the pleasures he gets (with renunciation) and also bear the burden of the sorrows that come automatically (with patience). Just as a farmer sows the seeds and consumes whatever food he gets according to his destiny, similarly, man should accept the pleasures and sorrows that he gets from time to time due to destiny.॥ 15 1/2॥ | |
