धर्मात्मा पुरुष को चाहिए कि वह दूसरों के दोषों को देखना छोड़कर सदैव सबके कल्याण की कामना करे। जो पापी अपने दोषों की ओर से आँखें बंद कर लेता है और दूसरे महापुरुषों के दोषों को सदैव कपड़े में छेद के समान प्रकट और बढ़ाता रहता है, वह मरने के बाद नष्ट हो जाता है - उसे परलोक में कोई सुख नहीं मिलता ॥ 55॥
A devout man should stop looking at the faults of others and always wish for the welfare of everyone. The sinner who closes his eyes to his own faults and always reveals and increases the faults of other great men like holes in a cloth, perishes after death - he does not get any happiness in the next world. ॥ 55॥
