मूर्ख पुरुष केवल अपनी प्रशंसा के बल पर संसार में प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त नहीं करता; विद्वान पुरुष यदि यशहीन भी हो तो भी संसार में उसकी कीर्ति बढ़ती है ॥49॥
A foolish man does not gain prestige in the world merely on the strength of his praise; even if a learned man is without glory, his fame in the world increases. 49॥
