मैं सत्य बोलता हूँ। किसी की निन्दा नहीं करता और यथाशक्ति दान भी देता हूँ। देवताओं, अतिथियों, कुटुम्बियों और पालन-पोषण के योग्य सेवकों को भोजन कराकर जो कुछ बचता है, उसी से अपने शरीर का पालन करता हूँ॥ 22॥
I speak the truth. I do not criticise anyone and I also give charity according to my capacity. After giving food to the gods, guests, family members and servants who deserve to be sustained, I sustain my body with whatever is left.॥ 22॥
