तानब्रुवं यथाभूतमिदं कर्तास्मि संयुगे।
निवातकवचानां तु प्रस्थितं मां वधैषिणम्॥ ७९॥
निबोधत महाभागा: शिवं चाशास्त मेऽनघा:।
ततो वाग्भि: प्रशस्ताभिस्त्रिदशा: पृथिवीपते।
तुष्टुवुर्मां प्रसन्नास्ते यथा देवं पुरंदरम्॥ ८०॥ |

| तब मैंने उनसे सब बातें बताईं और कहा - 'मैं युद्ध में यही करने जा रहा हूँ। आप जान लें कि मैं निवातकवच नामक दैत्यों का वध करने की इच्छा से यहाँ आया हूँ। अतः हे पापरहित एवं सौभाग्यशाली देवताओं! आप मुझ पर ऐसी कृपा करें कि मैं धन्य हो जाऊँ।' हे राजन! तब वे देवता प्रसन्न होकर उत्तम एवं मधुर वचनों से देवराज इन्द्र के समान मेरी स्तुति करके बोले -॥ 79-80॥ |
