स च गान्धर्वमखिलं ग्राहयामास मां नृप।
तत्राहमवसं राजन् गृहीतास्त्र: सुपूजित:॥ ५८॥
सुखं शक्रस्य भवने सर्वकामसमन्वित:।
शृण्वन् वै गीतशब्दं च तूर्यशब्दं च पुष्कलम्।
पश्यंश्चाप्सरस: श्रेष्ठा नृत्यन्तीर्भरतर्षभ॥ ५९॥ |

| हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! उन्होंने मुझे सम्पूर्ण गन्धर्ववेद (संगीत विद्या) की शिक्षा दी। राजन्! मैं वहाँ इन्द्रभवन में बड़े आदर और सुख के साथ रहने लगा तथा अस्त्र-शस्त्र की शिक्षा लेने लगा। वहाँ मुझे सभी इच्छित वस्तुएँ उपलब्ध थीं। हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! मैं वहाँ कभी सुन्दर गान सुनता, कभी दिव्य वाद्यों का भरपूर आनन्द लेता और कभी-कभी श्रेष्ठ अप्सराओं का नृत्य भी देखता। |
