वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं, 'हे जनमेजय!' ऐसा सोचकर द्रौपदी बार-बार 'गोविन्द' और 'कृष्ण' का नाम लेती रहीं और मन ही मन संसार के पितामह भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का स्मरण करती रहीं, जो संकट के समय रक्षा करते हैं।
