कर्ण उवाच
दृश्यन्ते वै विकर्णेह वैकृतानि बहून्यपि।
तज्जातस्तद्विनाशाय यथाग्निररणिप्रज:॥ २७॥ |

| कर्ण ने कहा - विकर्ण ! इस संसार में अनेक वस्तुएँ विपरीत परिणाम उत्पन्न करने वाली देखी जाती हैं। जैसे अग्नि से उत्पन्न अग्नि उसी अग्नि को जला देती है, उसी प्रकार कुछ लोग जिस कुल में जन्म लेते हैं, उसी कुल का नाश करने वाले हो जाते हैं॥ 27॥ |
