युधिष्ठिर बोले - "इन लोकों के द्वारों में सदैव विचरण करने वाले महर्षि असितदेवल ने कहा है कि जुआरियों के साथ बेईमानी से जुआ खेलना पाप है। धर्मानुसार विजय तो युद्ध में ही प्राप्त होती है; अतः क्षत्रियों के लिए युद्ध ही श्रेष्ठ है, जुआ नहीं।"॥9-10॥
Yudhishthira said, "The great sage Asita Devala, who always roams in these gates of the world, has said that gambling with gamblers in a dishonest manner is a sin. A victory in accordance with Dharma is attained only in war; hence war is the best option for Kshatriyas, not gambling.॥ 9-10॥
