भरत! वंग, कलिंग, मगध, ताम्रलिप्त, पुण्ड्रक, दौवालिक, सागरक, पत्रोअर्ण, शैशव और कर्णप्रवरण आदि अनेक क्षत्रिय राजा द्वार पर खड़े थे और द्वारपाल राजा की आज्ञा से उन्हें संदेश दे रहे थे कि तुम सब लोग अपने लिए समय निश्चित करो। फिर उत्तम दान अर्पण करो। इसके बाद तुम सब को भीतर जाने का मार्ग मिल सकेगा।॥18-19॥

Many Kshatriya kings like Vanga, Kalinga, Magadh, Tamralipt, Pundraka, Dauwalik, Sagarak, Patroarn, Shaishav and Karnapravaran were standing at the door and the gatekeepers, by the king's order, were giving them the message that you all should fix a time for yourself.
