तत्पश्चात् शत्रु सव्यसाची अर्जुन ने पूर्व दिशा में प्रस्थान किया। मेरु और मंदराचल के मध्य शैलोदा नदी के दोनों तटों पर कीचक और वेणु नामक बाँसों की सुखद छाया में रहने वाली खश, झष, नाद्योत, प्रघास, दीर्घवेणिक, पाशुप, कुलिन्द, तंगण और परतंगण जातियों को पराजित करके, उन समस्त रत्नों का दान लेकर अर्जुन माल्यवान पर्वत पर गए। तत्पश्चात् पाण्डुकुमार गिरिराज माल्यवान को पार करके स्वर्ग के समान शोभायमान भद्राश्ववर्ष में प्रवेश किया।
Thereafter, the enemy Savyasachi Arjun set out in the east.
