मैं उन अनंत यशस्वी वीरों के विनाश का दुःख सहन नहीं कर सकता। उस दुःख से मैं बार-बार व्यथित हो रहा हूँ। यशस्वी श्रीकृष्ण और यदुवंशियों की मृत्यु का विचार करके मुझे ऐसा प्रतीत होता है मानो समुद्र सूख गया हो, पर्वत हिलने लगे हों, आकाश फट गया हो और अग्नि का स्वरूप शीतल हो गया हो। यह विश्वास करने योग्य नहीं है कि शार्ङ्ग धनुष धारण करने वाले श्रीकृष्ण भी मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए होंगे। मैं इस बात पर विश्वास नहीं करता।॥12-14॥
I cannot bear the sorrow of the destruction of those infinitely illustrious heroes. I am repeatedly distressed by that sorrow. Thinking about the death of the glorious Sri Krishna and the Yaduvanshis, it seems to me as if the ocean has dried up, the mountains have started shaking, the sky has burst and the nature of fire has become cool. It is not believable that Sri Krishna, who held the Sharnga bow, would also have been subject to death. I do not believe this.॥12-14॥
