वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - 'जनमेजय! जब पाण्डवों को आश्रम छोड़े दो वर्ष बीत गये, तब एक दिन भगवान की इच्छा से नारद मुनि घूमते-घूमते राजा युधिष्ठिर के यहाँ पहुँचे।
Vaishmpayana says, 'Janamejaya! When two years had passed since the Pandavas left the hermitage, one day the sage Narada, by the will of God, while wandering about, reached the place of King Yudhishthira.
