धर्मात्मा धृतराष्ट्र पाण्डवों सहित शुद्ध एवं एकाग्र मन से व्यासजी के पास ऋषियों के साथ बैठ गये। कुरुवंश की समस्त स्त्रियाँ गांधारी के पास एकत्रित होकर बैठ गईं तथा नगर और जनपद के निवासी भी अपनी आयु के अनुसार अपने-अपने स्थान पर बैठ गये।
The virtuous Dhritarashtra along with the Pandavas sat with the sages near Vyasa with a pure and concentrated mind. All the women of the Kuru clan sat together near Gandhari and the residents of the city and the district also sat in their respective places according to their age.
