वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - हे जनमेजय! तत्पश्चात् उस आश्रम में रहने वाले, नक्षत्रमालाओं से सुशोभित सभी पुण्यात्मा पुरुषों ने उस शुभ रात्रि को सकुशल व्यतीत किया।॥1॥
Vaishmpayana says: O Janamejaya, thereafter all those pious men residing in that hermitage, who were adorned with garlands of stars, passed that auspicious night safely. ॥1॥
