अविवाहित कन्या से उत्पन्न, विवाह के समय गर्भवती कन्या से उत्पन्न, पति के जीवित रहते व्यभिचार से उत्पन्न, पति की मृत्यु के बाद परपुरुष से उत्पन्न, संन्यासी के वीर्य से उत्पन्न तथा पतित पुरुष से उत्पन्न - ये चाण्डाल ब्राह्मण के छः प्रकार हैं, जो चाण्डाल से भी निम्न हैं।
