ब्रह्मोवाच
केचिद् ब्रह्ममयं वृक्षं केचिद् ब्रह्मवनं महत्।
केचित्तु ब्रह्म चाव्यक्तं केचित् परमनामयम्।
मन्यन्ते सर्वमप्येतदव्यक्तप्रभवाव्ययम्॥ १॥ |

| ब्रह्माजी बोले- हे महर्षियों! इस अव्यक्त, सदा उत्पन्न करने वाले, अविनाशी पूर्ण वृक्ष को कुछ लोग ब्रह्मस्वरूप मानते हैं और कुछ लोग इसे महान ब्रह्मवन मानते हैं। कुछ लोग इसे अव्यक्त ब्रह्म मानते हैं और कुछ लोग इसे परम सनातन मानते हैं॥1॥ |

| Brahmaji said- O great sages! Some consider this unmanifested, ever-creating, indestructible complete tree as the form of Brahma and some consider it as the great Brahma forest. Some consider it as the unmanifested Brahma and some consider it as the ultimate eternal.॥1॥ |
