के पन्थान: शिवाश्च स्यु: किं सुखं किं च दुष्कृतम्।
एतान् मे भगवन् प्रश्नान् याथातथ्येन सुव्रत॥ ९॥
वक्तुमर्हसि विप्रर्षे यथावदिह तत्त्वत:।
त्वदन्य: कश्चन प्रश्नानेतान् वक्तुमिहार्हति॥ १०॥
ब्रूहि धर्मविदां श्रेष्ठ परं कौतूहलं मम।
मोक्षधर्मार्थकुशलो भवाँल्लोकेषु गीयते॥ ११॥ |

| कौन-से मार्ग कल्याणकारी हैं ? उत्तम सुख क्या है ? और पाप किसे कहते हैं ? उत्तम व्रत का पालन करने वाले गुरुदेव ! आप मेरे इन प्रश्नों का यथार्थ उत्तर देने में समर्थ हैं । धर्मज्ञों में श्रेष्ठ तत्त्वदर्शी ! यह सब जानने के लिए मेरे मन में बड़ी उत्सुकता है । इस विषय में इन प्रश्नों का यथार्थ उत्तर देने में आपके अतिरिक्त अन्य कोई समर्थ नहीं है । अतः आप मुझे बताएँ; क्योंकि संसार में मोक्षतत्त्व के ज्ञान में आप ही निपुण कहे गए हैं ॥9-11॥ |
