कुतश्चाहं कुतश्च त्वं तत्सत्यं ब्रूहि यत्परम्।
कुतो जातानि भूतानि स्थावराणि चराणि च॥ ७॥ |

| शिष्य ने कहा - ब्रह्मन्! मैं कहाँ से आया हूँ और आप कहाँ से आए हैं? संसार के सभी जीव-जंतु कहाँ से उत्पन्न हुए हैं? कृपया मुझे परम तत्व का वास्तविक स्वरूप बताइए ॥7॥ |
