नित्यस्य चैतस्य भवन्त्यनित्या
निरीक्ष्यमाणस्य बहुस्वभावान्।
न सज्जते कर्मसु भोगजालं
दिवीव सूर्यस्य मयूखजालम्॥ ५॥ |

| इस इन्द्रिय आदि को देखने वाले, नाना प्रकार के स्वभाव वाले सनातन आत्मा के लिए सभी भोग अनित्य हो जाते हैं। इसलिए वे भोगों के समूह उस विद्वान को उसके कर्मों में उसी प्रकार लिप्त नहीं कर सकते, जैसे आकाश में सूर्य की किरणों का समुदाय सूर्य को लिप्त नहीं कर सकता॥5॥ |

| All pleasures become impermanent for this eternal soul who sees the senses etc., whose nature is of many types. Therefore, those groups of pleasures cannot indulge that scholar in his deeds in the same way as the community of sunrays in the sky cannot indulge the sun. 5॥ |
