एक ओर तो आप किसी प्राणी का प्राण लेने से बचते हैं और दूसरी ओर हिंसा में संलग्न रहते हैं। द्विजवर! हिंसा के बिना कोई भी कार्य पूर्ण नहीं होता। फिर आप यह कैसे सोचते हैं कि आप केवल अहिंसा का ही पालन कर रहे हैं?॥ 21॥
On one hand you refrain from taking the life of any creature and on the other hand you are engaged in violence. Dwijavar! No action is complete without violence. Then how do you think that you are following only non-violence?॥ 21॥
