एवं धर्मभृतां श्रेष्ठ ज्ञात्वा सर्वात्मना तदा।
श्रोत्रियाय दरिद्राय प्रयच्छानुपकारिणे॥
अनुवाद
हे पुण्यात्माओं में श्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिर! इन सब बातों को पूर्णतः जानकर, किसी ऐसे ब्राह्मण को दान दीजिए जो वेदों का ज्ञाता हो, निर्धन हो तथा स्वयं अपनी सहायता न कर सके।
Yudhishthira, the best among the virtuous! After knowing all these things completely, make a donation to a Brahmin who is knowledgeable about Vedas and is poor and does not help himself.
