भीष्मजी कहते हैं - युधिष्ठिर! शास्त्रों के अर्थ को जानने वाले महामुनि पराशर इस प्रकार चारों वर्णों के कर्तव्य-नियम समझाकर तथा शुश्रूषा एवं समाधि द्वारा प्राप्त होने वाले कर्मों का वर्णन करके एकाग्रचित्त होकर अपने आश्रम को चले गये।
Bhishmaji says – Yudhishthir! The great sage Parashar, who knew the meaning of the scriptures, thus explaining the rules of duty for the four varnas and describing the activities to be achieved through Shushrusha and Samadhi, went to his ashram with a concentrated mind.
