भीष्मजी बोले- राजन! दान-पुण्य के जानकार क्षत्रियों को देव-सम्बन्धी कार्य (यज्ञ-यागादि) में ब्राह्मण की परीक्षा नहीं करनी चाहिए, किन्तु पितरों के कार्य (श्राद्ध) में उनकी परीक्षा करना उचित माना गया है॥2॥
Bhishmaji said – King! Kshatriyas who are knowledgeable about charity should not test a Brahmin in the work related to God (Yagya-Yagadi), but it is considered justified to test them in the work of ancestors (Shraddha). 2॥
