ऋते दधि घृतेनेह न यज्ञ: सम्प्रवर्तते।

| दही और गाय के घी के बिना यज्ञ नहीं हो सकता। इन्हीं के द्वारा यज्ञ सफल होता है। इसलिए गायों को यज्ञ का मूल कहा गया है। 2॥ |
